Ashvin Kumar

Writer/director/producer of 'No Fathers in Kashmir', oscar nominee for 'Little Terrorist' and two time winner of the National Film Award for Inshallah Football and Inshallah Kashmir, Ashvin founded Alipur Films in 2003. His previous films are Road to Ladakh (starring Irrfan Khan), Dazed in Doon, The Forest (starring Jaaved Jaffery), and a UNHCR commissioned documentary on migration, I Am Not Here.

Sylvain Nahmias

Sylvain is a French production designer, creative producer & co-producer. He has worked extensively in the Indian Subcontinent on films like The Clay Bird, Homeland, and Bhopal - a Prayer for Rain. His association with Alipur Films began as production designer & special effects co ordinator on The Forest (2006). He is the production designer and co producer of No Fathers in Kashmir (2019)

Markus Huersch

One of Alipur Films' earliest collaborators, a Swiss national, Markus was the Cinematographer on Road to Ladakh (2003) Little Terrorist (2004) and The Forest (2005). Following his qualification as a teacher, he studied History of Art, Philosophy and Dramatics at the University of Bern. With nearly 15 years of experience, he's still amazed by the diversity and the potential cinematography offers him, evolving with every film rather than repeating his approach to storytelling. Markus has worked internationally in drama, documentaries and advertising.

Roland Heap

An early collaborator with Alipur Films, Roland Heap, was the Sound Designer & Recordist on Little Terrorist (2004) when he was still at university. He served as the sound designer on The Forest (2006), Inshallah Football (2010) and Inshallah Kashmir (2012) and as producer during the development of on No Fathers in Kashmir (2019). Roland went on to found Sound Disposition, his own full service sound studio based out of London.

Rael Jones

Rael began his collaboration with Alipur Films as dialogue, sound and music editor on The Forest (2006) and a few years later, Music Composer of the original soundtrack for Alipur Films' Dazed in Doon (2010). Based in London, Rael is an Emmy nominated Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist. Rael worked on Tom Hooper’s film adaptation of Les Misérables as Additional Orchestrator, Music Editor and Music Programmer, for which he won a Golden Reel Award at the 2013 MPSE Awards in LA. He has also contributed additional music for the four series of the BBC’s hit drama Sherlock bagging an Emmy Nomination for his work on the series in 2016.

Jean Marie Delorme

A recent collaborator with Alipur Films, Jean Marie is one of the two Cinematographers of No Fathers in Kashmir (2019). Jean Marie has a background in feature films, IMAX documentaries and commercials. His documentary project 'Becoming Cary Grant' has been well received since its release this year. He graduated from Sorbonne university in classical history of the last century.

Mukti Krishan

Mukti is in development with us at Alipur Films with her debut feature film in ’Sandhya’ slated to shoot in 2020. She is also the cinematographer of Alipur Films' ‘Routless’ (2020) a feature documentary, in production. Mukti has is a writer / director based in Mumbai who has directed commercials and short films. In paarticular, a series of 6 short docs for Virtual Bharat (2018), produced by Bharatbala Productions that uncover untold series in India, The Mud Warriors (2015) screened at British Film Institute (BFI) Film Festival. Raqs - e - Inquilab (2019), Art in a Time of Conflict set in Kashmir (MUBI, The Atlantic Selects). Mukti is an alumni of Vancouver Film School, and in a previous avatar was a SFX artist in Disney’s Tinkerbell and Weinstein Brothers Hoodwinked.
